The Congressional oversight panel has published a collection of around 70 photos from the estate of former found guilty individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the latest in a series of release from a tranche of over 95,000 photos the panel has acquired from Epstein's property. It features images of quotes from the literary work Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and censored photos of female international passports.

This release arrives just hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the DOJ to release each records associated with its investigation into Epstein.

"These latest images pose additional inquiries about what exactly the DOJ has in its custody," stated the senior Democrat of the panel, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Images Released

A number of the images released on this week show Epstein speaking with professor and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates standing alongside a woman whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the most recent affluent, influential men to be seen in Epstein estate photos disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - earlier disclosed images also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the photographs is not proof of any misconduct, and several of the photographed individuals have said they were never implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a announcement released with the photograph disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein property holders did not offer background information or dates for the photographs.

"Images were selected to provide the general populace with transparency into a typical cross-section of the images obtained from the estate, and to provide perspectives into Epstein's network and his exceptionally disturbing behavior," the release states.

The release also includes several photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in dark ink across various areas of a female's body, such as her torso, foot, hipbone, and spine. Lolita narrates the account of a minor who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

An example of a passage from the book inscribed across a female's chest says, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a number of photographs of women's passports and official papers from nations around the world, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the details on the IDs, including names and DOBs, is obscured but the committee stated in a announcement that the passports are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".

An additional image features Epstein seated at a desk intimately flanked by three individuals whose faces have been obscured - a first has her hand on Epstein's chest under his shirt, and a second is bending to look at a adjacent computer. Epstein can be seen to be helping the third individual put on a bracelet.

Another photo disclosed is a capture of digital messages from an unnamed person who states they have been sent "a number of girls" and are demanding "$1000 per girl".

Photograph Publication Occurs Prior to DOJ Deadline

The body has thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously graphic and ordinary," its statement on Thursday noted.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and records the Epstein estate provided to the body are different than what is largely termed "the Epstein files". Those are papers in the Department of Justice's possession related to its separate probe into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump signed into law in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its records. The extent of the contents included in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's likely that much of the information will be significantly censored, similar to the committee's documents
